GREEN: Five Green residents have been reappointed to city boards and commissions, while a sixth has been given a new three-year term.
James Schweikert was chosen by Mayor Dick Norton to succeed Amy Nichols on the Historic Preservation Commission for the next three years, effective Jan. 1.
City Council reappointed Jeff Noble to the Design Review Board for a two-year term and reappointed Jerry Alessia to a six-year term on the Civil Service Commission.
Council then approved Norton’s reappointments of Matt Aloisi and Dwight Yoder to five-year terms on the Board of Zoning Appeals and Planning and Zoning Commission, respectively.
Norton also named John Warmus to another two years on the Design Review Board.
The appointments were announced by Council President Joel Reed during council’s final meeting of the year on Dec. 11.
